2021 Cameroon Legendary Warriors Zaporozhian Cossack 3oz Silver Coin
The “Legendary Warriors” series continues with an exclusive silver item – “Zaporozhian Cossack”. It depicts one of the Ukrainian defenders who led rebellions against Poland and landlords. The word “Cossack” is derived from the Turkic “kazak” and means a free man. Ukrainian Cossacks were fighters, who lived on the Pontic-Caspian steppe below the Dnieper Rapids, also known as the Wild Fields.
The coin contains a portrait of a warrior in traditional clothes. Besides, there are some Ukrainian symbols – guelder rose, typical weapon and clothes of Cossacks. Selective gilding and digital printing beautifully highlight them.

Монету розробити та викарбували на Монетному дворі Польщі, а емінентом виступив Камерун. Вона має номінал 500 франків та виготовлена зі срібла 925 проби. Наклад монети становить 500 штук, їх продаватимуть лише в Україні.
На реверсі викарбувано сцену з фільму, де герой у бойовому спорядженні оглядає Карпатські гори, на аверсі - стилізоване зображення беркута в оточенні силуетів монгольських воїнів.
У світовій традиції випуск монет, приурочених до прем'єр фільмів, викликають значний інтерес серед шанувальників кіномистецтва. Емінентами при цьому часто виступають африканські країни - їхні монетні двори співпрацюють з іноземними замовниками та дають дозвіл на друк будь-яких зображень.
Ощадбанк замовляв монету в співпраці з дистриб'юторською компанією FILM.UA.
